LeadingEdge Communications.aero, the world’s first public relations alliance specialising in communications services for the aviation industry, is delighted to welcome Dallas, US-based Blake-Miller Communications as its newest partner.

Blake-Miller is a seven-year old PR and e-marketing firm serving primarily aerospace clients in the U.S, Canada and Europe and becomes LEA’s second US-based associate.

Blake-Miller has arranged media and advertising campaigns for simulator training organization CAE, as well as fractional ownership companies HeliFlite Shares and JetDirect.  For the past four years Blake-Miller has been retained by Aerion Corp, which plans to bring to market the world’s first supersonic business jet in 2014.  The company has also worked with Eurocopter, Turbomeca, Socata, Dassault, Universal Avionics, L3 Avionics and other prominent aerospace companies.  Blake-Miller will bring a new dimension to the overall LEA expertise, adding advertising, e-marketing and website development and management.

Blake-Miller Agency principal Jeff Miller is a commercially rated pilot, who started his aviation career writing for AOPA Pilot.  He was an advertising copywriter for Young & Rubicam and held senior communications positions at Learjet and Galaxy Aerospace. He is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies with a master’s degree in International Studies and International Economics.

LeadingEdge Communications.Aero was established earlier this year by three leading aviation PR consultancies –Emerald Media, led by Alison Chambers in Europe and Kelly Murphy in the US, Australasian company Asia Pacific Public Relations, led by Tony Harrington and Singapore-based Euro Asia Communications, led by Anthony Phillips.

LEC also has strong associate relationships in China/Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Germany and Spain, and is planning to expand into other markets.

LeadingEdge associates are carefully selected because they each provide specialist services to the air transport sector, have established strong industry and media relationships and have proven results for a wide range of aviation clients around the world.    LeadingEdgeCommunications.aero reflects the global nature of the aviation industry, shaped to deliver both global coverage and local knowledge, underpinned by a strong understanding of the aviation industry.
