Maiquetia International Airport will open three new boarding gates in 2009

Maiquetia International, the most important airport in Venezuela, will open three new passenger boarding and deplaning gates in January 2009. This will extend the international terminal on its western end and increase the number of positions for departures and arrivals to ten.
