Pratt & Whitney Wins US$130 Million PW4000 Engine Order from Uzbekistan Airways

SHOW — Uzbekistan Airways has selected Pratt & Whitney PW4000-94″ engines
to power an order for new Boeing 767 aircraft in a deal valued at more than
US$130 million. The agreement, which is subject to approval of the
Uzbekistan government, includes installed engines for four firm Boeing 767
aircraft and one spare engine. Pratt & Whitney is a division of United
Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

Uzbekistan Airways currently operates Pratt & Whitney-powered 757, 767
and A310 aircraft. Deliveries for the new PW4000-94″ engines are planned to
begin in 2013.
