WICHITA, Kan., July 22, 2008 – Cessna Aircraft Company, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, has expanded its labor coverage program beyond the Citation Mustang to CJ3 customers.
ProTech is the latest addition to the Cessna ProAdvantage family of comprehensive maintenance programs and started when deliveries of the all-new Citation Mustang began in April 2007. Now expanded to another Citation model, the program complements parts and engine offerings by giving customers the option to pay a monthly fee to cover all labor costs for regular maintenance based on an annual average amount. If labor exceeds the projected amount, ProTech covers any additional costs.
“Citation customers will find that ProTech allows them to better plan and budget for their maintenance costs nose-to-tail,” said Stan Younger, vice president, Service Facilities. “Adding ProTech to an existing ProParts program may also increase the resale appeal of the aircraft because the program is transferable.”
Customers can select one of three operational tiers based on projected aircraft use. Maintenance can be conducted at any of the 10 Cessna-owned Citation Service Centers or participating authorized facilities around the world.
