Brazil to invest $2.4 billion in its airports for the World Cup in 2014

The state airports administration, Infraero, has responded positively to the airlines General Aviation Association (ABAV) request for improvements in the national airports infrastructure in order to handle the traffic which will be generated by the World Soccer Cup in 2014. It stated it will invest $2.4 billion on the 67 airports in the country. The work is to be concluded by 2010.
