Embraer Showcases Phenom 300 Jet for the First Time

Company takes three executive jets to LABACE, August 14 to 16, in Brazil São José dos Campos, August 5, 2008 –  Embraer is promoting its executive jet portfolio at the fifth edition of the Latin American Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (LABACE), August 14 to 16, at Congonhas Airport, in São Paulo, Brazil. The highlight will be the first exhibition of
the Phenom 300 throughout the show. The Phenom 100 and Legacy 600 jets will also
be showcased at LABACE.
Embraer will hold a press conference on August 13, at 1 p.m., in the Aluminium room, in the
show area. The Company will also display a full-size model of the Phenom 100, at booth
5201, for visitors to see all of the comfort of the market’s biggest entry-level jet. Information
on the ultra-large Lineage 1000 and the recently-launched midlight Legacy 450 and midsize
Legacy 500 jets will also be available.
“Latin America is an important market for executive aviation and LABACE will be an
excellent opportunity for Embraer to promote the advances in products and services for this
area,” stated Breno Corrêa, Embraer Vice President, Marketing and Sales – Latin America,
Executive Jets. “We are very pleased to publicly exhibit the Phenom 300 for the first time,
like we did with the Phenom 100 last year.”
With a firm order backlog of approximately US$ 6 billion for the executive aviation segment,
Embraer has substantially increased its share in this market, since 2005, as part of its strategic
plan, and now has six aircraft models in its portfolio. The Company is also making
investments in expanding its network of own and authorized service centers, in order to
further improve its customer services worldwide.
Embraer estimates that by the end of 2008 it will have delivered from ten to 15 Phenom 100 jets, 30
to 35 Legacy 600s, and one or two Lineage 1000s, besides having 45 service centers in operation.
LABACE is organized by the Brazilian Association of General Aviation (Associação
Brasileira de Aviação Geral – ABAG), in a partnership with the National Business Aviation
Association (NBAA), and is the main executive aviation show in Latin America.
