Delta announces new service to Cancun from Nashville

The new weekly service will start on December 20, 2008. This will bring the number of US cities with direct service to Cancun to a total of 10. Delta currently serves Cancun from Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati, Hartford, Los Angeles, Orlando, Raleigh/Durham, Salt Lake City and Washington D.C. With the new Nashville service, “the wannabe number two airline in Latin America” will offer more than 500 weekly nonstop flights to more than 50 destinations in the region.
