US International visitors up 14% in May, receipts up 21% to $11.8 billion

According to the US Department of Commerce, there were 4.3 million international visitors to the US in May, up 14%. Foreign tourist receipts for May were $11.8 billion an increase of 21% over May 2007. Arrivals from South America were up 18% with Brazil accounting for 31%.
