As the airline slows its fleet growth, it announced that it is providing six Embraer ERJ190s to David Neeleman’s Brazilian startup, Azul. Two of the aircraft will be leased directly by jetBlue while four are being sold to Jetscape, which will then lease them to Azul which is launching its domestic service in December.
