Guatemala reports it increased tourism receipts by 3% in the first two months

The Guatemalan tourism institute, INGUAT, reports that tourism generated $208.6 million during January and February 2009, for a 3% increase. Roberto Robles, executive director of INGUAT, said the goal for 2009 is to generate 1.8 million visitors with receipts of $1.4 billion.
