Airline Services Group, headquartered in Manchester, UK, has appointed Dan Hepworth as Group Director Sales and Marketing, effective immediately.  Dan, 35, joins the company from Lufthansa Technik where for the past five years he served as Sales Manager UK and Ireland.  Prior to that he worked with FLS Aerospace as Group Sales Manager UK, and Scandinavia.

He joins Airline Services, a leading provider of support services to the airline industry, at a time when the Group is expanding its portfolio of services and its customer base.  New for 2009,  Airline Services is launching a range of innovative inflight entertainment products and services and it will be showcasing these, designed and developed by its own in-house engineering team, at next week’s Aircraft Interiors Show in Hamburg during 31 March-2 April.  (Hall 6, Stand  D15,  IFE Zone).

Dan Hepworth will be responsible for building and developing the sales and marketing efforts of Airline Services with dual targets of encouraging new business into the privately-owned company, which has been trading for over 20 years, and to build on long established client relationships.

“We are delighted to welcome Dan to the management team,” said Airline Services Group Chief Executive Bryan Bodek.  “This is part of our strategy to further develop the valuable relationships we have with many major airlines in Europe and to expand our reach into the rest of the world.  These are tough economic times for airlines and their number one priority is to reduce costs whilst retaining passengers through the constant delivery of a high level of service.  To achieve this they need service partners they can trust.  Airline Services has built its reputation on delivering high quality, performance and reliability with integrity.”
