PremiAir’s newly opened Fixed Wing Maintenance Facility at Oxford Airport has been boosted with new Authorised Dealer status for the Raisbeck range of performance- enhancing aerodynamic upgrades.

US-based Raisbeck Engineering designs, develops and produces unique solutions through advanced technology and innovative engineering to enhance the performance, operational efficiency and safety of business, corporate and commercial aircraft.

Raisbeck has designed and manufactured for the King Air family since 1981 and from January 2009, the current wide range of products, such as 4-blade Quiet Turbofan Propellers, Ram Air Recovery Systems, Enhanced Performance Leading Edges, Dual Aft Body Strakes and Crown Wing Lockers, can all be supplied and installed at PremiAir Engineering’s Oxford Airport facilities.

PremiAir relocated its fixed-wing maintenance operations to new bespoke hangar facilities at Oxford Airport in the final quarter of 2008.  Bob Burley, PremiAir Engineering’s Business Development Manager, said:  “We are delighted to have achieved this Raisbeck accreditation, which will significantly enhance our service offering to our existing customers and also bring new King Air operators to our facility.”

“We are pleased to expand our dealer network in the UK with such a high calibre facility,” said Bobby Patton, Raisbeck’s Director of Sales. “PremiAir has a professional and experienced staff and an excellent reputation, and they will be an asset to both Raisbeck and King Air owners and operators.”

In collaboration with Hawker Beechcraft at Chester, PremiAir has worked with Raisbeck Engineering products previously, most recently on the installation of a Crown Wing Locker System to a King Air C90GTi.  PremiAir’s Oxford facilities have been approved for EASA Part 145 base maintenance on the full Beechcraft range and are fully equipped with bespoke electrics, lighting, heating and modern insulation.  The £1 million investment in the facility includes new workshops, customer reception areas, office space and dedicated car parking.
