Volaris has been approved to serve California from Toluca and Guadalajara

The successful Mexican “LCC” airline now has approval from the DOT to serve Oakland and Los Angeles as well as Fort Lauderdale. The airline, which will code share with Southwest starting in 2010 will announce launch dates on all the new service shortly.
