Sikorsky Global Helicopters Delivers S-300CBi(TM) Helicopter to Tomlinson Aviation

HORSEHEADS, N.Y., May 6 /PRNewswire/ — Sikorsky Global Helicopters, a Sikorsky company, recently delivered an S-300CBi(TM) helicopter to Tomlinson Aviation of Ormond Beach, Fla. Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

Tomlinson Aviation has been operating S-300 series helicopters since its founding in 1990 and has grown into a dynamic, rapidly expanding flight school. This newest addition will increase the company’s fleet of Sikorsky helicopters to seven.

“The S-300CBi is a leader in piston flight training helicopters,” said founder and President Neal Tomlinson. “It’s safe and affordable, allowing ease of training.”

Flight training is Tomlinson Aviation’s primary focus and it is frequently selected to provide instruction by local law enforcement agencies and the U.S. Customs Service. The range of services the company provides makes it an attractive choice. These include piloting patrols for Florida utility companies and the U.S. Department of Interior. The company is also a Sikorsky Global Helicopters Light Helicopter Division sales and service center, and holds many certificates, including FAR 133, 135, 137, and 141.

The S-300CBi(TM) helicopter operates throughout the world primarily as a training helicopter, renowned for its excellent flight characteristics, impressive safety record, and extremely competitive operating costs.
