US Airways to enter South America with first Brazil flights

The US legacy carrier has announced that it will enter the South American market with nonstop B767 service between Charlotte, N.C. and Rio de Janeiro beginning on December 2, subject to government approval. The flights will originate in Philadelphia providing one stop service to and from Rio de Janeiro.
