LAS VEGAS, June 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Mundus Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets: MNDP) and AirStar are developing the next generation of unmanned air vehicles with robotics packages for an array of applications. In an ambitious effort to maintain its strategy of maximizing its innovative aerial UAV delivery solutions, it has formed its newest UAV Robotics Division. The division formation was designated in an effort to gain a market advantage with little competition in this lucrative UAV aerial robotics for laboratories service niche. The Company is offering its revolutionary patented VTOL technology in a ducted fan UAV (Unmanned Air Vehicle). The counter rotating propellers are completely enclosed, offering a myriad of possible solutions as an unmanned VTOL robotic delivery system. The new-ducted fan technology will replace the current state of the art AirStar Systems in service with government agencies worldwide and will be leased on a contractual basis to municipalities.

This new division allows Mundus/AirStar to further commit their technology to new frontiers in robotic technology including:

VTOL Drones & AeroDroids

Mundus introduces the AirStar AeroDroids with Ducted fan technology and counter rotating propellers in a completely enclosed shell that allows for close and safe operational proximity to pedestrian bystanders, trees, buildings, bridges, traffic and other infrastructure. The increased safety advantage of having no exposed propellers, brings a whole new era to remote controlled Drones and AeroDroids in close inner space operation that provide stable VTOL delivery platforms for remote controlled robotics. AirStar AeroDroids are VTOL UAV inspection vehicles that provide VTOL UAV delivery systems for robotic tools. An array of tools is currently under development that will provide specific innovative solutions for RC inspection, repair, monitoring, observation, surveillance, tracking inventory, rail way monitoring, harbor and coastal monitoring, hurricane and tornado early warning, ocean cargo and freight inspection, transcontinental telephone and power lines maintenance, bridge, dam and infrastructure inspection and repair.

AirStars with optional Robotics Packages will have CamCopter’s dual optics packages for microscopic as well as telescopic cameras, in addition to specific precision real time tooling for drilling, welding or placing pre configured devices in place such as power line and telephone cable equipment. High definition video camera images on laptop monitors provide accurate real time flight controller coordination with separate monitor and camera for robotics tooling operator. They will also have carbon fiber ducted fan and outer shell, reinforced with aircraft aluminum and titanium hard points and landing gear with extended flight fuel cells for up to 4 hours of autonomous flight running on ethanol with “0” zero emissions.
