The carrier expects to have at least 11 new B737-200s in its fleet by the end of 2009; one was recently delivered, another is expected before the end of June and nine more will be added during 2009. The government also confirmed that it will purchase 15-20 A330 and A340 aircraft. These aircraft will open opportunities on international routes and allow the carrier to take advantage of increasing tourism from the U.S. and Europe.
