Pluna reports first operating profit in ten years

The “born again” Uruguayan airline has reported net operating profit of $2.4 million in the first six months of 2009. This is the first operating profit reported by the airline since 1999 when it reported a $403,473 operating profit. Obviously this does not include other financial expenses – but it is a great start.
