Latitude Technologies announced today that the Western Area Power
Administration (WAPA) within the U.S. Department of Energy has selected
Latitude to provide a suite of Satcom hardware products and related services
for its helicopter fleet.  Century Helicopters Inc. of Fort Collins,
Colorado will be responsible for the installation.  Western Area Power
Administration markets and delivers reliable, cost-based hydroelectric power
and related services within a 15-state region of the central and western
U.S.  Their transmission system carries electricity from 57 power plants
operated by the Bureau of Reclamation, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the
International Boundary and Water Commission and is regularly patrolled by
its Bell 407 rotorcraft fleet.

“We are pleased that WAPA selected Latitude to provide the SatCom hardware
and for Century Helicopters to complete the installation for this important
project.  Together we will provide WAPA with the best solution possible to
meet their needs,” remarked Michael Hansen, General Manager of Century
Helicopters, Inc.
