Avianca to take control of Brazilian Ocean Air

German Efromovich, CEO of the Synergy Group which controls both Avianca and Ocean Air in Brazil, announced that he is transferring control of the Brazilian airline to Avianca. The Brazilian airline generates $200 million annually in revenues and has approximately three percent of the Brazilian market. The Brazilian airline will change its name to Aerovias del Continente Americano.
