JOHN CUNNINGHAM IS NEW SES MANAGING DIRECTOR

SHANNON, Ireland — May 10, 2010 — John Cunningham has been named the new managing director of Shannon Engine Support (SES), replacing Patrick Bergin, who has taken a lead marketing role at GE Commercial Aviation Services (GECAS).
As SES managing director, Mr. Cunningham will define and lead the company’s global go-to-market strategy and execute on the operating objectives for the business.

Mr. Cunningham began his career in 1986 with KPMG, Ireland, before joining GECAS in 1990. During his tenure there, he held a variety of roles across finance, operations, structured finance and, most recently, marketing. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland. He also holds a degree in business management from Trinity College, Dublin.

SES provides a variety of engine leasing solutions for all CFM56 engine types including: operating leases, short to medium term leases, guaranteed availability, and engine sale and exchange programmes.
SES is a wholly owned subsidiary of CFM International (CFM), a 50/50 joint company between Snecma and GE. CFM produces the world’s best-selling commercial engine product line, the CFM56 family.
