Montréal, June 15, 2010 – Bombardier Aerospace today announced that it has delivered its
first Challenger 605 and Global 5000 jets to customers based in Argentina on April 1 and
April 20, 2010, respectively.
“With the largest product portfolio in the industry, Bombardier is ideally positioned to offer our
customers the best travel solutions to fulfill their needs,” said Fabio Rebello, Regional Vice
President, Sales, Latin America, Bombardier Business Aircraft. “Our Challenger 605 and
Global 5000 jets offer the perfect combination of range and cabin comfort for transcontinental
and transatlantic flights, a growing requirement in Latin America,” he added.
The Challenger 605 jet, and the very successful Challenger 600 Series aircraft from which it is
derived, contribute to Bombardier’s position as the leader in the large aircraft segment of the
Latin American market with a share of more than 50 per cent. Bombardier also leads the super
large aircraft segment for deliveries in this region due to the growing presence of its Global 5000
aircraft.
In service since January 2007, the Challenger 605 jet builds on the legacy of quality and
reliability of its predecessor, the acclaimed Challenger 604 jet, leading its market share segment
throughout the world. The Challenger 605 jet can whisk five passengers from Buenos Aires to
Dakar and Buenos Aires to San Juan (Puerto Rico) non-stop* in superior comfort. It features the
widest stand-up cabin of any large category business jet available today. The Bombardier
Enhanced Vision System (BEVS) is offered as optional equipment on the Challenger 605 jet.
The Global 5000 jet offers the perfect combination of range and cabin comfort to satisfy the
growing corporate travel needs of Latin American customers. The super large jet combines
superior transatlantic speed with the largest cabin in its market segment. It features high-speed
Internet connectivity and unmatched entertainment options, as well as a heads-up flight display
system, with the largest field-of-view of any business aircraft. With a recent range increase of
400 NM (741 km), the jet can now connect Buenos Aires-New York and Buenos Aires-Cape
Town non-stop with eight passengers and three crew*.

The Global 5000 aircraft will soon feature the new Global Vision flight deck. Scheduled for entry
into service in 2012, the new flight deck merges leading-edge design with advanced technology
to deliver a completely new cockpit experience. It pairs the latest technological advancements
from Rockwell Collins – the Pro Line Fusion avionics suite – with superior design aesthetics to
create the ultimate flight control environment and provides pilots with an unprecedented level of
situational awareness and comfort.
