Venezuelan Y-8s

The latest aircraft for the Aviación Militar Bolivariana Venezolana (Venezuelan air force) is the Y-8 tactical transport. The Chinese-built Shaanxi Y-8 will operate alongside the nation’s existing C-130 Hercules force. So far, five have been delivered; the final three aircraft are expected to be delivered in January 2013. The aircraft will serve with Grupo Aéreo de Transporte 6.
