Satcom Direct Announces New Premier Service Plan

Satellite Beach, Fla. (October 5, 2008) – Satcom Direct, a leading
innovator of satellite voice, fax, and Internet data service
solutions, announces its new premier service plan called Satcom On
Site (SOS) which offers 24/7 and on-site support, among other package
options.

The SOS package offers two tiers of service, so customers can receive
the exact level of service that fits with their specific needs.  The
Standard level of SOS service includes Global One Number(R), 24/7
technical support, latest up-to-date satcom system configurations,
access to Plane Simple, ATS position reporting utilizing their Global
One Number service, and full activation and system set-up.

The Premier level of SOS service includes all of the benefits of the
Standard level with additional specialized service.  With the Premier
level of SOS service, a Satcom Direct specialist travels directly to
the customer’s facility to offer technical support, IT support,
customized training, and system installation authorization, including
Swift64, SwiftBroadband, router configuration, operational check-out
and set-up.  Also included are periodic technology and service reviews
customized for each operator.

A critical component of the 24/7 support inherent to both the Standard
and Premier levels of SOS is Satcom Direct’s electronic monitoring
system.  This functionality helps Satcom Direct deliver a pro-active
approach to customer service to its customers.

recently developed the means to trigger alerts and notifications when
connectivity issues arise.  This information is passed on to our
customers, at which time configuration and system checks are offered,”

packages are currently available in North America and pricing is
