Jennifer Mitchell Named Regional Sales Director at California Mooney

Long Beach-based Entrepreneur Was Featured In Mooney Ads

Kerrville, Texas—Mooney Airplane Company has announced the appointment of Jennifer Mitchell to the position of regional sales director for California. A Long Beach-based entrepreneur and a pilot, she was recently featured in Mooney advertisements. Ms. Mitchell is also an accomplished ultrasound equipment sales professional and licensed sonographer who uses her Ovation 2GX to conduct business at hospitals and imaging centers statewide.
“We featured Jennie in our ads because she is both a successful small business operator who uses her airplane effectively, but a highly effective salesperson, as well.  Since the ad began running, she has done an exceptional job of assisting us in promoting our aircraft and it just became more and more obvious that she would be a valuable addition to the Mooney sales team,” said Rick Neely, senior director of sales.  “California is an extremely important market for us and we now have someone who can not only ‘talk the talk,’ but ‘walks the walk,’ when it comes to demonstrating the economy and versatility of Mooney airplanes,” he added.
Ms. Mitchell is a versatile businesswoman, having begun her career as a sonographer at Kaiser Permanente Hospital after graduating from the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at Modern Technology College in 1999.  She founded her own company, Power Imaging in 2000 and it continues to be one of California’s leading companies offering sonography services and equipment sales.  In addition, she provides sales support, customer education and training for GE Healthcare.
