COLOMBIA PLANS TO INVEST $2.3 BILLION IN INFRASTRUCTURE

The director of National Planning of Colombia (DNP), Carolina Rentaria, has announced that the government plans to increase the number of infrastructure projects going from $241 million to $2.336 billion. The plan is being presented during the 10th meeting of Committee of Executive South America Direction (IIRSA) in Cartagena.  

Currently Colombia has three such projects but there are eight infrastructure projects that are gathering strength. The purpose of the presentation is to secure private investors.
