Santiago, Chile’s airport to expand from 11 to 20 million passengers

The plan for the expansion of Santiago’s main airport calls for increasing the present capacity of 11 million annual passengers to 20 million by 2019. The study is being conducted by Airports de Paris Engineering (ADP) which will determine the necessary new facilities and will be ready for requests for proposals by 2014.
