Mexico City is looking to become a destination for 1 million Chinese tourists

Alejandro Rojas Diaz, the city’s secretary of tourism, announced that they want to become a major tourism destination for Chinese tourists in the next ten years. He made the announcement upon his return from the International Tourism Fair in Shanghai, that Mexico will open its first promotional office in that city in the first quarter of 2009.
