Flight Simulator Manufacturer Adds Turnkey Capital and Aviation Services

Units to enable World’s Aviation Training Organizations to Design, Staff

and Support Funding for New Generation of Flight Training Centers

MONTREAL, Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ – Mechtronix Systems, Inc. the third leading provider of flight training solutions has announced the formal establishment of Mechtronix World Corp. The newly formed holding organization will consist of three units, Mechtronix Systems, Mechtronix Capital and Mechtronix Aviation Services. The three divisions will enable Mechtronix World to provide growing airlines, training centers and Flight Training Organizations around the globe with a complete turnkey solution that will enable them to build, staff and fund their own “at home” flight training centers.

The name Mechtronix Systems will be retained for the core flight simulation manufacturing division which will become part of a new solution based triad composing Mechtronix World. It will continue to perform all engineering design functions, conduct research and development, while building flight simulators and flight training devices for the new generation of flight training centers.

Mechtronix Capital will assist and provide guidance for customers seeking specialized financing for their training devices and flight training centers by using internal resources in conjunction with a global network of partners specializing in the field. The newly formed Mechtronix Aviation Services division will provide training centers with staffing and operations support which includes: pilot providing services, instructor providing, pilot operations management and even accommodations preparations to facilitate their development.

“Mechtronix has now evolved into a complete solutions provider for the world’s smaller regional airlines and FTO’s that want to conduct a world class training environment at home”, said Xavier Herve, Mechtronix Systems President and COO. “We found that even providing them with the first economical new generation of flight simulators for training at home, was not enough, we had to do more. Mechtronix World’s formation is the ultimate culmination of listening to our customers and developing a complete end to end solution that addresses their changing needs. Now when they use our technology and need to address their complete pilot provisioning needs, they can find the solutions all in one place. We can even help them build the facility that houses it all.”

“We see Mechtronix’ new structure and offerings as a smart next step beyond the firm’s original development of flight simulators”, said Garrick Ngai, analyst with Frost and Sullivan. “Mechtronix set the standard for leadership by developing quality simulation technology using true replication that made it economically feasible for the industry’s train at home model. Now they have taken the concept and turned it into a unique turnkey approach for a growing global market and a successful business services model that has led investors like Richardson Capital Limited to invest $39 million in Mechtronix. This is funding that will be key to Mechtronix’ success in years to come.”
