Bombardier Expands Worldwide Authorized Service and Maintenance Facility Network

• Establishes First Line Maintenance Facility in Finland and increases capabilities in
China and the U.S.
Montreal, January 30, 2009 – Bombardier Aerospace has added a new Line Maintenance
Facility (LMF) and increased capabilities at two existing facilities – expanding its global network
of authorized service and maintenance facilities for the twelfth time in the last 12 months.
Jetflite becomes the first LMF for Bombardier business aircraft in Helsinki, Finland, providing
convenient AOG assistance to customers in Scandinavia. In addition, Metrojet has been
appointed as a complete Authorized Service Facility (ASF) in Hong Kong and Global Aviation
adds Challenger 300 aircraft support to the line maintenance services it currently offers for
Bombardier business aircraft in Oregon.
Jetflite – based at Helsinki Airport, in Vantaa – provides line maintenance support for Learjet,
Challenger 300, Challenger 604, Challenger 605 and Challenger 850 aircraft. Operating a
30,000 sq-ft facility with 56 engineers and technicians, Jetflite leverages nearly 30 years of
maintenance experience with the business aircraft community in the region.
Metrojet – based at Hong Kong International Airport – augments its aircraft maintenance
capabilities for Learjet, Challenger 300, Challenger 600 Series and Global aircraft through its
ASF appointment. This new status enables Metrojet to provide more extensive services,
including: engine, avionics and airframe maintenance, as well as airworthiness directives and
service bulletins. Metrojet operates a 53,400 sq-ft, state-of-the-art facility with a staff of 80
maintenance technicians.
Global Aviation – based at Portland-Hillsboro Airport in Hillsboro – adds Challenger 300 aircraft
authorization to the line maintenance services it currently provides for Learjet, Challenger 601,
Challenger 604, Challenger 605 and Global aircraft. A full-service line maintenance facility with
63,000 sq-ft of hangar space, Global Aviation employs a staff of 25 maintenance technicians
and 10 licensed aircraft technicians.

Aerospace Service Centers and authorized facilities, and flight and maintenance training.
