LAN seeking to enter the Brazilian cargo market

Latin America’s “model airline”, which is to begin B767-300F international all-cargo service in Colombia with its LANCO affiliate this month, has announced that it is adding two B777/300Fs to its fleet and is looking to start a domestic all cargo operation in Brazil. LAN Cargo generates 35% of the airline’s total revenues, more than $335 million for an 8.9% growth.
