Chilean economy expands 0.2% in the 4Q and 3.2% in the year

According to data released by Chile’s Central Bank, the percentages are lower than expectations which had forecast the 4Q at 1.1% and 3.4% for the 12 month period. Finance Minister, Andres Velasco, said he was pleased with the performance of the economy which is still growing and with the prospects for 2009.
