Hamilton Sundstrand to Provide Advanced Flight Control Computers for UH-60A/L Helicopters

FARNBOROUGH AIR SHOW, FARNBOROUGH, England, July 14
/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — The U.S. Army CECOM Life Cycle Management Command
has chosen Hamilton Sundstrand, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp.
(NYSE: UTX), to supply Advanced Flight Control Computers for the continued
upgrade of Sikorsky UH-60A/L helicopters.

Product engineering and program management for the five-year agreement
will be performed in Windsor Locks, Conn., with component sub-assembly and
final assembly being completed at Hamilton Sundstrand’s Phoenix, Ariz.,
facility. The contract is expected to generate $45 million in revenue for
Hamilton Sundstrand.

“The U.S. military is an important customer to Hamilton Sundstrand,”
said Dennis Klapperich, Hamilton Sundstrand general manager, Military
Customer Support and Logistics. “We are pleased to support them in their
continued upgrade of UH-60A/L helicopters.”
