PAL Principal Airlines to launch domestic service in Chile on June 18

The Chilean airline was launched as a charter operator in September 2003 and has operated with an alliance with Futura International Airways. Carlos Musiet Talgia, General Manager of the airline, has announced it has invested US$14 million and will add $5 million to support its scheduled operations. It will launch twice-daily flights between Santiago and Antofagasta, operating two B737-200s.
