As IATA met in Kuala Lumpur this past weekend to discuss the need to reinforce demand for air travel worldwide which has dropped 20% in the past several months, Brazil’s Intelligent Airline announced new pricing policy to create demand for its flights in Brazil and South America. The new policy includes discounts on all flights based on advance purchase, weekend layover and other factors which make its product that much more attractive to both regular and new airline customers, including a 50% bonus on frequent flyer miles.
