The government of Brazil has awarded Sikorsky
Aircraft $163,800,000 for the procurement of four
S-70B anti-submarine warfare/anti-surface warfare
helicopters.
Brazil’s new Sikorsky S-70B helicopters, which are
similar to those operated by Australia, will replace
the navy’s Westland Lynx shipboard helicopters
from June 2012.
