Pilatus Aircraft Ltd is pleased to announce the selection of Quilque S.A. of
Buenos Aires, Argentina as its newest sales center in South America.
Established in 1997, Quilque is the aeronautical arm of Estancias y Cabaña
Las Lilas (ECLL), one of Argentina’s most renowned farming operations.
Quilque will be responsible for the sales and marketing of the PC-12 NG in
Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
Speaking from Pilatus Business Aircraft, Ltd. in Broomfield, Colorado, Thomas
Bosshard, President and CEO, states: “It is with great pleasure that we
welcome Quilque to the Pilatus family. In making this decision, we thoroughly
reviewed several candidates and we were very impressed by the overall quality
of potential representatives. Ultimately, Quilque’s outstanding personnel and
expertise, including their product knowledge of the PC-12 NG as a long-time
Pilatus customer proved to be the right match to sell and support the world’s
best selling business turboprop.”
Gonzalo Caraballo of Quilque adds, “When we heard that Pilatus was looking
to establish a sales center in Argentina we were immediately interested. As a
long time PC-12 owner we know that the PC-12 NG is ideally suited for
travelling across the regions’ vast rural expanses and landing on its many
unmaintained airfields. The low direct operating cost and versatility of the
PC-12 NG make it an especially attractive travel solution. We are already busy
finding new customers for this fantastic aircraft.”
Since its introduction in 1994, the PC-12 has steadily grown in sales and
success to become one of the top selling turbine-powered business aircraft in
the world. The versatile PC-12 performs many roles worldwide, including
executive transport, commuter, air ambulance, police and border surveillance,
cargo, and regional airliner. Quilque S.A. will focus on sales and support of the
PC-12 NG, which features a fully integrated Honeywell Primus Apex avionics
system, a cockpit designed by BMW Group Designworks USA, and a powerful
Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A engine.
